After several attempts by the All progressive congress (APC) to woo an illustrious Imo born politician Hon Dr. Emeka ikedi, he has finally been captured as a progressive member.
This followed with a thunderous and epoch making occasion that ushered him into the party fold in his electoral ward in Amaimo ward by APC party stalwarts in his LGA including his ward Councilor Hon Udochukwu Dickson, An Apex leader in the ward Dr John Nwaike who also represented the former deputy governor Imo state Prof Placid Njoku, amongst many other chieftains of the party whom were present to welcome their illustrious son in the progressive fold.
Hon Dr Emeka Ikedi was a forerunner in the 2019 federal house of representative election under the platform of APGA, he has made tremendous impact in his locality and beyond both in human capital development and social reconstruction. An astute business mogul in the Agro industry and other chains of businesses which over the years distinguished him among his associates and made him a beautiful bride widely sort out for.
On his remarks, he said” i am happy to identify with the All progressive congress following the overwhelming performance of the governor, Hope Uzodinma in the state both in infrastructural development and other social amenities that has outshined his precedessor; and also pledge his support for Tinubu led administration for its reformative policies that will transform the country in no distant time if only we can endure the pains for meantime.
Other party stalwarts, voted their gladness for the triumphant entry of the Amaimo born business mogul cum politician stating that it is a big win for the party and the APC’s strength has been boosted in ikeduru as a whole and beyond as many of his supporters and admirers in large numbers are already picking APC party forms.
